Hiram Autery of Jefferson Township, Sevier Co.,AK by Joseph McCarven, Jr. J.P. Marriage bond said he was 37 and she was 20. She m. 2nd in 1854 to Richard Beisha and 3rd to James M. Faulkner in 1857 in Sevier Co., AR

            C. Elizabeth Autrey b. 1826inTN m. John Lynch b. 1808 on 8-17-1846. She was "about 19, he was about 37." They were married by Joseph McCarven, Jr., J.P. at the home.

            D. Hiram A. Autrey, Jr. b. 1828 in TN d. 10-3-1907 in DeQueen, AR m. 8-17-1845 in Sevier Co. to Matilda Edmonson b. 1830 d. 3-7-1904 in DeQueen, AR 12 children. He was 17 and she was 15 at the time of their marriage. He was a Private in Co. K, 19th Regiment Arkansas Infantry during the Civil War. Both are buried in The Mills Creek Cemetery after being moved from the Bella Mine Cemetery to make room for DeQueen Lake in Sevier Co., AR All 12 children were b. in AR

            4. James Alexander Autrey, Sr. b. 2-9-1853 d. 10-16-1920 "age 57" m. 2-20-1879 Soletha V. Maroney b. 9-1-1858 d. 4-3-1938. They had 10 children and 2 of them said their parents were 1/4 Cherokee Indian on their fathers side and 1/2 Cherokee Indian on their mothers side. Soletha was b. in 1858 and d. 1938, was a widow for many years but kept the family together until they were married.
